Marketing for plastic surgery

They type the operation. Then they type your name.

A rhinoplasty patient and a reconstruction patient are not the same visit. One has been comparing surgeons. The other was sent, and looked you up anyway. See where you stand in 60 seconds.

The consult is the appointment. The reading happened before it.

Plastic surgery marketing by treatment

One specialty, very different consults.

Medically this is one specialty. For marketing and SEO, what counts is which operation they typed, and whether they are paying for it.

Facial plastic surgery

Judged surgeon by surgeon, photo by photo.

  • Rhinoplasty
  • Facelift
  • Eyelid surgery
Who pays
Cash. Other surgeons and medspas bid on the same words.
What they type
  • rhinoplasty
  • nose job
  • facelift
  • eyelid surgery
  • rhinoplasty cost

The operation in everyday words. “Blepharoplasty” comes later, once a surgeon has said it.

What we aim for
The consult page: who operates, and what a range covers. Not a before-and-after as the ad.
A person on a couch at night, reading on a phone

Breast surgery

Researched for weeks before the first call.

  • Augmentation
  • Lift
  • Reduction
Who pays
Augmentation and a lift are cash. A reduction is sometimes insurance.
What they type
  • breast augmentation
  • breast lift
  • breast reduction
  • breast augmentation cost
  • breast reduction covered by insurance

The cost is in the search. For a reduction, so is the insurance question.

What we aim for
A page per operation. An ad only if you want more of the cash consults.
A small operating room with a draped table, instrument stand, and two surgical lights

Body contouring

Decided long before the consult, often by two people.

  • Tummy tuck
  • Liposuction
  • Mommy makeover
Who pays
Cash, and one of the larger cases in the practice.
What they type
  • tummy tuck
  • liposuction
  • mommy makeover
  • tummy tuck recovery
  • lipo 360

The operation, then the recovery. They want to know what the weeks after look like.

What we aim for
One page per operation, with recovery in plain words. An ad only if you want more of these consults.

Who pays is the usual pattern, checked on the call. The search chips are the usual wording.

How patients search for a plastic surgeon

They search the operation, not the surgeon. At first.

“Plastic surgeon near me” is the smaller search. They type rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, or a tummy tuck, then the surgeon’s name. Reconstruction is different: another doctor sends them, and they look the name up before they call. An ad is a poor default for that visit.

Plastic surgery marketing channels

Less map, more page.

They type the operation. The map is the smaller search.

Our plastic surgery marketing services

What we take on.

The profile, the pages, and ads only where that line is actually won.

  1. 01

    Your Google profiles, kept current

The practice and every surgeon, the right categories, and every new review answered within 24 hours, to a protocol you approve.

    Paid Search + Reviews

  2. 02

A page for each operation they research

Rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, tummy tuck — who operates, the steps, and an honest range. Reconstruction gets a page too. It does not get an ad by default.

These are the common marketing patterns, not your menu. On the call we go through what you actually do: who pays, what patients type, and whether an ad is worth it. 30 minutes, online.

Plastic surgery marketing FAQ

Questions plastic surgery practices ask us.

Is this our payer mix?

No. Who pays is the usual pattern for that visit in a US private practice — not your fee schedule, and not a result from our clients. On the call we go through what you actually do, how it’s paid, and whether an ad is worth it.

Do you run ads for these operations?

Yes, if you want more consults for a specific one. You set the budget. We show you where it went.

What about reconstruction?

A different visit. Often insurance, after another doctor sends them, and they still look up your name. The work is a page that explains the path. An ad is a poor default.

Do you use before-and-after photos?

Not as the ad. On the page, only if the photos are yours.

How do you handle review replies and HIPAA?

Every reply follows a protocol you approve up front: it never confirms that the reviewer is a patient or mentions their care, and it moves specifics offline. Replies go out within 24 hours; anything under 3 stars or sensitive goes to you first.

What does it cost?

The appeario Audit is free. Paid Search + Reviews starts at $890/month with no minimum term. Visibility Projects — treatment pages, doctor profiles, schema — start at $1,490 one-time.
